print terms.

1. Changes

The amount of revisions, if any, included in your booking are detailed on your invoice. If you want to change your mind or add anything new after these revisions, that won’t be a problem as I’ll provide a separate estimate for those changes. You also understand that this may push us past the allocated time slot for your project and as such, may see a slower turnaround.

2. Final Files

The final files will be provided in the format specified on the your invoice and/or contract only.

You’re welcome to request alternative file formats for an additional fee subject to my ability to be able to create the file in the requested format.

I don’t provide files in Word/Excel/Powerpoint format and other Microsoft Office formats.

3. Returns & refunds

Refunds and exchanges will only be made if the design is faulty or does not meet the specifications, excluding colour, of your order and are at my discretion.

4. Proofing

All proofreading is your responsibility.

Before I send any of your designs to print, you’ll be asked to proof and sign these off in writing, either via email or via my website. It’s really important you fully proof all artwork files, including spell and grammar checks before you sign off the artwork. Any mistakes found after the artwork has been approved for printed or printed, will be your responsibility and should you wish to reprint will mean you incur any reprinting charges.

5. Colour Accuracy

I cannot be held responsible for any variations in colour or quality for both new prints and reprints.

It’s impossible for me to guarantee the colour on your screen is a true representation of the colour used in your design work. In addition, colours of printed versions of your artwork may vary to that displayed on your screen and the overall finish may differ to that of artwork you have printed elsewhere.

Please also keep in mind that if we are printing on a coloured stock, the colour of the printed design may differ to that printed on white stock.

Due to the nature of print as a whole, colour may differ between batches. You may also notice a colour difference on ink when printing onto different card stocks and/or applying laminate.

6. Printing

Credit is not given for printing. All printing fees must be paid prior to any artwork being released for printing.

The overall finish may differ to that of artwork you have printed elsewhere.

I can not be held responsible for any errors, colour matching, finishing or quality of the final printed product.

Although the Printers I choose to work with are those I feel are the best to produce my design work to a high quality standard, I can’t guarantee you’ll be happy with the final result. Should you wish, a printed proof can be produced for an additional fee.

7. Digital Foil Printing

Due to the nature of this print finish, your final printed items may have a slightly speckled effect on the areas we are applying digital foil too. This is normal but should this not be satisfactory, I recommend you upgrade to a hot foil finish to ensure an even coverage.

8. Hot Foil Printing

A polymer/metal plate will be made of your design before the Printer can foil your item. This plate incurs a one-off fee which means, should you change the design after approval, a new fee will apply to remake your plate.

9. Re Prints

If we are ordering reprints, please be aware that there may be a variation in colour between print runs.

10. Deckled & Gilded Edges

This is handmade finish, as such you will notice a variation to all pieces.

11. Wax Seals

The shade of wax can differ between batches. This is unavoidable due to the handmade nature of the wax.

Should you be ordering pre-made wax seals, all seals will vary in size and shape.

12. Postage

I can not be held responsible for any items damaged, delayed, missing or lost which have been sent to the Client. Where possible, reprints will be arranged.

Should you rearrange delivery of any items to an alternative address directly via my courier, you full responsibility for any items damaged, delayed, missing or lost.

Return postage costs are not covered by Becky Lord Design. I am not responsible any items damaged, delayed, missing or lost that you may choose to return, I recommend having any returns sent with insurance and/or tracking.

13. Damages

Risk of damage to or loss of the goods shall pass to the client at the time of delivery.

For all print, I recommend storing in a cool and dry place.

The validity, construction and performance of this agreement shall be governed by English Law.
